Terms of Service

The service

RoomRedecor lets you choose a living room, bedroom, kitchen, or bathroom photo, mark an area to change, and request a result in one of the available style presets. Kitchen and bathroom flows are experimental and intended for inspiration only. The service does not promise exact geometry, measurements, unchanged doors or windows, construction suitability, or a result fit for purchasing or building decisions.

The public gallery includes clearly labelled AI-created design concepts; both the before and after concept images are illustrative and are not outputs from the current editor. Separately labelled recorded editor examples use documented project generations and attributed CC0 practice photos. They are not customer reviews, customer photographs, a success-rate study, or a promise that every input will produce the same quality.

Accounts and anonymous trial

• The public workbench can issue one anonymous trial generation per browser/guest identity, subject to Turnstile verification, rate limits, the site-wide budget, and operator stop switches.
• Anonymous use creates a signed, HttpOnly guest cookie with a maximum lifetime of one year, plus internal guest, credit, and task records. Clearing cookies or changing browser state can affect guest recognition; this is not a guarantee against repeated attempts.
• Sign in to purchase credit packs and access your orders. Valid purchased credits can be used without an invitation. Signing in alone does not grant additional free generations.
• You must provide information you are allowed to use and keep account details accurate enough for the service to operate.

Credits and service limits

• The workbench shows the currently available styles, limits, and any credit cost before a generation when that information is available.
• Credits, trial access, moderation, rate limits, and site-wide budget controls may prevent a request from being accepted.
• We may pause or stop generation, change limits, or apply a cost or safety stop switch while operating the service.
• A failed, blocked, or unresolved task is handled according to the task state shown by the service. Do not submit the same request repeatedly when its state is still being reconciled.

Payments and refunds

Credit packs are one-time purchases in USD, not subscriptions: $4.99 for 20, $9.99 for 50, or $19.90 for 120 generations. Purchased credits expire 365 days after purchase. Each accepted generation reserves one credit; failed or blocked tasks return that credit when reconciliation completes. Images are available for 24 hours, independently of the credit expiry date.

To request a refund, sign in and open Orders & refunds, choose the order, and select Request refund. You can also email hello@roomredecor.com with your order number. Never send card details. Requests are handled manually; submitting one does not immediately issue a refund.

You may request a refund for unused purchased credits. Requests involving used credits, duplicate charges, or a service failure are reviewed individually. We confirm the amount with you before processing an approved request. Full refunds remove the remaining credits from that purchase; partial refunds reduce the purchased credit allowance proportionally, accounting for credits already used. A returned or failed generation credit is a service credit, not a cash refund.

Approved cash refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Bank processing time varies. You can follow the support conversation in Support requests and check payment status in Orders & refunds. Contact us again with your order number if you have not received a response within two business days. This policy does not limit rights that apply to your purchase under applicable law.

Your content and privacy

• Upload only photos and masks you have the right to use and process. Do not upload illegal content, content you are not authorized to process, or another person’s image where you lack the necessary permission.
• Inputs, masks, generated outputs, and related assets are owner-scoped. Asset access expires after the configured 24-hour lifetime; expired reads are blocked. Cleanup is requested through reconciliation and may not remove every storage copy or metadata record at the exact same moment.
• Use My photos & privacy → Delete my room images in the workbench. Deletion blocks access and starts the asset cleanup path.
• Read the Privacy Policy for guest identifiers, internal task and credit records, configured processors, and data requests.

Content safety

Inputs and outputs may pass automated safety checks. Content that fails a configured check can be blocked and not delivered. Safety and budget decisions may prevent a task from running; the service does not promise that every blocked or failed attempt can be retried immediately.

Disclaimer

The service and generated images are provided for room-design inspiration and “as is”. AI output can contain artifacts, edge drift, odd furniture joins, or stray text. Do not rely on a result as a measurement, construction document, structural recommendation, safety instruction, or exact shopping specification. You are responsible for checking any real-world decision with an appropriate qualified professional.
